Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner
This report provides the name, location and contact information of all crafted precious metal dealers registered with the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner. Only Registered Crafted Precious Metals Dealer may purchase crafted precious metals from a member of the public in Texas.

 

American Gem Society
The was established in 1934 by a select group of independent jewelers and Robert M. Shipley, founder of the prestigious school of gemology, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

American Gem Trade Association
Founded in 1981, the AGTA is leading industry force in the ethical promotion of natural colored gemstones and cultured pearls.

Diamond Council of America
The Diamond Council of America (DCA) was founded in 1944 as a forum to educate jewelry sales professionals about diamonds and gems.

The Ganoksin Project
The Ganoksin project provides a variety of quality services for the gem and jewelry community. We work hard to maintain the high standards of our services for the benefit of our visitors. Our services are provided free of charge and to the benefit to all.

The Gemology Project
The Gemology Project is a non-profit gemstone and gem science wiki-style database for anyone interested in gemstones and gemology (gemmology). Every month we highlight a gemstone and a piece of gemstone identification equipment to help us all understand more about the wonderful world of colored stones and diamonds.

International Gemological Institute (IGI)
The International Gemological Institute (IGI) is the largest independent laboratory for grading and valuating diamonds and fine jewelry, and is renowned for its quality services, extensive experience and expertise.

International School of Gemology
The ISG was originally an Allied Teaching Center for the Gemmological Association of Great Britain before going independent in 2004. The ISG holds memberships in the American Gem Trade Association, Cultured Pearl Association of America, Diamond Council of America, Texas Jewelers Association, the Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America, and other professional industry associations such as Polygon. The ISG is a certified education provider for many US State Departments of Insurance to train insurance agents and adjusters in gemology, and is active in the insurance industry for assisting with high dollar jewelry insurance claims in the US and Europe. The ISG Registered Gemologist Appraiser Program has been recognized and accepted by insurance and jewelry industry organizations world-wide.

Jewelers Board of Trade
For 125 years, The Jewelers Board of Trade has been providing its members with the vital information they need to make good credit decisions.

Jewelers for Children
Jewelers for Children, formerly known as the Jewelers Charity Fund for Children, is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that raises money in the fine jewelry and watch industries that is used to help children who are the victims of catastrophic illness or life-threatening abuse and neglect.

Jewelers of America
Jewelers of America is the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry retail marketplace.

Jeweler Vigilance Committee
The JVC works to ensure compliance with the law by the jewelry industry and to support ethics & integrity.

Jewelers Security Alliance
The JSA leads the way in fighting jewelry crime.

MSJA
MJSA is the trade association dedicated to professional excellence in jewelry making and design.

National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA)
The Association’s primary purpose is to recognize, and make available, the services of highly qualified, informed, experienced, independent, and professional appraisers of gems and jewelry to those members of the public requiring such expertise.

Polygon
Providing online marketing and sourcing power to jewelry industry professionals for over 20 years.

The Society of North American Goldsmithssupports and advances the professional practice of artists, designers, jewelers and metalsmiths since 1969.

Women’s Jewelry Association
WJA, founded in 1983, is the preeminent association of professional women in the jewelry, watch and related businesses.

World Gold Council
Founded in 1987, the World Gold Council is an organisation formed and funded by the world’s leading gold mining companies with the aim of stimulating and maximising the demand for, and holding of Gold.
